Dominic Tocco, 81, of Masaryktown, died Thursday, April 10, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to the area 37 years ago from Redford, Mich.

Mr. Tocco was the owner and operator of Nick's Meat Market and retired from the Hernando County School System after 21 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of VFW #8681, Elks Lodge #2025 of Aripeka, Independent Order of Foresters and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was an Honor Guard, 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his sons, Andrew, of Hudson, Fred, of Las Vegas, and Edward, of Spring Hill; daughter, Catherine T. Boskey, of Tampa; brother, Sam, of Sterling, Miss.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Marilyn “Chickie” Leandro, 70, of Brooksville, died Friday, April 4, at the Hernando Care Center in Brooksville. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to the area in 1992 from New Jersey.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia, of Brooksville; sons, Roger, of Lady Lake, and Artie, of South River, N.J.; brother, Pete, of Brooksville; and five grandsons.

Arrangements by Brewer and Sons Funeral Homes, Seven Hills Chapel.

Robert K. Kripps, 51, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, April 9, at his home. He was born in Tampa and moved to Brooksville in 1998.

Mr. Kripps was a professional wrestler in the 1980s. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, was a 3rd degree in the Knights of Columbus and coached football.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; and brother, Alfred, of Tampa.

Arrangements by Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel.

Celie E. Rueping, 85, of Brooksville, died Friday, April 11, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Brooksville.

Ms. Rueping attended Eden Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Debby Morriss, of Tampa; son, Frank, of Brooksville; sister, Marle Coles, of Brooksville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel.

Edward D. Grimes, 91, of Tavares, died Wednesday, April 9.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise McTaggart, and son, Dean C., of Tavares.

Arrangements by Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares.
