Ana Mas Gomez, 94, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, April 1, at her home. She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and moved to this area two years ago from Dunedin.
Ms. Gomez served as Economic Attache’ to the United States at the American Embassy in Mexico City. She was a member of Columbia University Alumni Association and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Livia A. Mas of Brooksville; a niece, Carol P. Mas of Brooksville; and a nephew, Raymond J. Mas of Odenton, Md.

Josephine “Mama Joe” Greenidge, 97, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, April 2, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Allendale, S.C., and was a lifetime resident of Brooksville.
Mrs. Greenidge was a member of the Allen Temple AME Church in Brooksville. She was mother of the church and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Frederick Kelly Elks Lodge in Brooksville and received the “Beautification Award” for many years decorating for Christmas.
Survivors include her husband, Norris F.; a daughter, Anna Stephens; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

John M. Hart, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, April 6. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and moved to Florida 23 years ago.
Mr. Hart was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanore; a son, David of Spring Hill; a daughter, Lynn of Plant City; three granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
